Cisco IP Telecommunications Users Group (CIPTUG) awards Citrix Solution

The Cisco IP Telecommunications User Group(CIPTUG) has named Citrix System’s Citrix EasyCall a recipient of two Application Bake-Off awards at the CIPTUG Annual Conference, including Best Application Suite and Best Finance Application.

According to a statement released on behalf of citrix, the EasyCall technology emerged as the winner due to its ability to improve worker productivity and save phone costs by making communications capabilities like click-to-call available from any enterprise application with no changes to existing phone systems or applications.

The Application Bake-Off is an application development competition that provides a unique opportunity for attendees to participate in live demos and provide direct, valuable feedback to application developers on new or not-yet-released applications.

“We are honored to be recognized by the Cisco IP Telecommunications Users Group, as it further validates our ability to provide our customers with intuitive, integrated communication solutions,” said Barry Phillips, group vice president and general manager, Advanced Solutions Group, Citrix Systems.

The CIPTUG Annual Conference is the only event of the year focusing strictly on Cisco Unified Communications products. The event is open to CIPTUG end-user and vendor members, Cisco customers that are considering or will be implementing Cisco Unified Communications solutions, and Cisco Partners considering becoming CIPTUG members.
